Ghatu dance
Glimpse into the cultural life of Ghatu Bhannasaath Gurudwara. Yes, this dance is more than recognizable to the Gurung community. This dance is traditionally prevalent in this community and its popularity is increasing. Actually it is a kind of dance drama and it tells the story. The dancers dance to the beat of the music, the dancers sway and almost become unconscious. Dancers are also trained through music. Looks amazing. You will be surprised that this famous water is there.
While dancing, Narakaharu slowly bows to Yassari, her waist looks like a tukrukka bhaanchiya. The whole dance dances slowly. Isn't it difficult? The dancer answers the question after the dance, 'Ghatuko layama lathinch ki, such a move is not found.'
Ghatu dance is fun and the mind is entertained, there is no need for dancing. This is a kind of spiritual practice and the Guru community regards it as a spiritual practice. That's why before starting the Ghatu dance, worship has to be done. Ghatu is danced in three stages, irrespective of time and context. Outside the month of Ghatu, there is only such dance which can be seen at any time.
