International flights may be affected due to restrictions on Middle Eastern airspace
Kathmandu, February 28. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Tribhuvan International Airport has informed that some international flights may be affected due to the airspace restrictions imposed in the Middle East region due to the Israeli-American attack on Iran and Iran's attack on American military camps in Gulf countries.
Tribhuvan International Airport issued a notice this evening stating that flights may be delayed, rescheduled or canceled.
The airport has urged passengers to confirm the latest status of their flights with the relevant airlines before departing for Tribhuvan International Airport. The airport administration has also stated that it is coordinating closely with the airlines and relevant agencies to make passenger management smooth and effective.
The notice asks passengers flying to or from Middle Eastern destinations to be especially vigilant. The contact numbers of the airlines operating flights that may be affected have also been made public.
